Our Williams line spans across time from 1621 to present and has journeyed from Wales to all across America. If you have found this page, please search for your ancestors in the search box provided to your upper right.
This particular line of Williams is well established in South Eastern Pennsylvania before the Revolutionary War. Our Williams Line established farmlands in 1755, in Mifflin Co. PA, later to be part of Juniata Co. PA. Parts of the family broke off around 1790 to Westmoreland Co. PA which later became part of Indiana Co.PA. In 1808, another branch made it to Coshocton Co. OH where many relatives still live. With the railroads opening up Illinois in the early 1850's many of the related families moved to McLean Co., IL. Seven generations of Williams' can be found in McLean Co. Many lines continued westward into Missouri, Kansas, Arizona, California, and Washington.
