    • She received her elementary education in Benton and Hickory Counties and was a graduate of the Green Ridge High School. She attended and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Missouri State Teachers College at Warrensburg, MO. She taught school for a number of years in Johnson County and at Raytown MO. They lived all of their married life in Pettis County and since 1961 had made their home in Sedalia. Mrs. Pittman was a member of the Dresden Methodist Chruch.
