      Miss Betty Jo Fricke, RN, 820 South Thirteenth street, Herrin, became the bride Saturday evening of Olan Dean Calhoun in the First Methodist church during a candlelight service performed by Rev. Carl Mitchell. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fricke of Murphysboro. Calhoun Is the son of Mrs. Lesta Calhoun, 320 South Fourteenth street,-Herrin, and the late Tom Calhoun. The decorations In the church consisted of a green covered archway with white gladioli. Red roses, white lillies and pink and white peonies were the flower decorations. Miss Jo Ann Ing, friend of the bride, sang "Because" and "Through The Years" with accompaniment of Mrs. William Schwegman at the piano. The bride was lovely in a white satin gown fashioned with a high neck and long sleeves edged in Chantilly lace. She wore a shoulder length net veil with the crown headpiece trimmed in Chantilly lace. She carried a white orchid on a small Bible. I ICR MATRON of honor, Mrs. Bill Bracy, close friend of the couple, was attired in a blue gown of. lace over tafetta fashioned with a high neck and short sleeves. She I wore matching lace elbow length1 gloves. Mrs. Bracy carried a bouquet of yellow gladioli and wore a: matching floral headpiece. j Bridesmaid, Miss Flo Ann Fricke of St. Louis, sister of the bride, was dressed in a pink gown fashioned identical to that of the matron of honor's. She carried a bouquet of yellow gladioli and wore a matching headpiece. The bridegroom and best man, Bill Bracy, and groomsman, Gray-don East, were attired in dark suits with white carnation boutonnieres. Ushers and candlelighters were the bridegroom's cousins, Bill Murrah and Charles Murrah, who wore tan suits with white carnation boutonnieres. The bride's mother wore a grey dress with white accessories. She wore a pink carnation corsage. Mrs. Calhoun was attired in a grey dress with a lavender trim. She wore black accessories and also had a pink carnation corsage. A RECEPTION was given...
